Ex Sedan Engine swap

Ex Sedan Engine swap
Hey guys
I've got a 98 Ex sedan with high mileage on it and i wanna swap out the current engine for an SI or SIR engine of any year that will fit that provides optimal performance with the most minimal amount of modifications to get the engine to fit. If you guys could give me a make and model of either SI or SIR's that would be great, unless there is already a post like this up somewhere, then a kind link would just as awesome.
And also as another summer project, I would like to swap my stock seats for a pair of Integra RSX seats, do you guys know what year through what year would fit the brackets of a 98 ex sedan ? or year that would fit with minimal modifications ? I'm saying minimal so often cause these are like the first two projects I'm ever tackling lol
so information or either of these two issues would be greeeeeeeatly appreciated
Thanks !!!!

Let's see. Canadian Si or SiR? I think that the Si has a D16y8 and the Sir has the b16a2. For minimal work, you can put in a y8 and reuse your engine mounts and transmission. The b16a2 has different mounts and a different transmission. Use the advanced search function. There are a few threads out there with more information. You may want to convert to USDM trim levels though. EX=LX, Si=EX, SiR=Si, etc.
As far as seats go... 94-01 Integra seats will EASILY fit into your Civic, just swap out the inner seat rail with your stock Civic ones. Super easy, 3 bolts.

the sir is a canadian model of the usa si which is the b16 (dohc)and will require a little modification on your car and you will need the trans and alot of other stuff, the si canadian model is the usa ex model which is the d16y8 (sohc) which is the exact same model and motor as ur car.
