F20b help

i fell in love with the f20b and i want to kno what all do i need to swap it in my 92 civic. i heard its just like swapping the h22. change the wireing, axles ,mounts, ecu, shift linkage, suspention ect. i also herd something about cutting! what do i have to cut?

Yeah the F20 swap into a civic is just like a H22 swap. You would use the same Hasport mounts to fit the motor. As for axles I dont know what ones you will need sorry. I think you need to cut the rear mount and relocate it. The driver side frame in the engine bay needs to be cut to fit the larger F/H series. AC and power steering will not fit in the civic as well. If you want to do a F sereies swap why don you go with th F22 or the F23? They have Vtec so they would be better than the F20.

i want to do the f20b cause it has 200hp and the f22 and f23 do have vtec but there SOHC and only have around the 150hp average. plus you dont see that many f20b's. also im more of the all motor rather than boost. not saying anything is wrong with boost. i just like the strong bottom end that the f20b has, but thanks for all your info.

i know you dont want boost, but just incase later down the road you wanted to, the f series doesnt hold boost very well.

Oh sorry I thought you wanted to do the F20 that is in the 90-93 Accord. You mean the F20 DOHC in the JDM Accord R. Yeah the swap is the same as a H22. The F20 is basically a smalller H22, they use the same head. That would be a cool motor to swap, def different. But it will not be simple I wouldnt want to do this swap myself. Have a shop do it you will be better off. Post pics if you do the swap.
