RE: finding a B16A2 SiR II OBD2 for my car
there are a lot of sites on the internet to find motors. if you search google for "jdm motors" then you are likely to find about 5-10 sites that you can get your motor from. i love the b16a2 so i would go with that one. good luck in your search.

RE: finding a B16A2 SiR II OBD2 for my car
i believe that it came out of a 92-95 honda civic ek. but see its a JDM motor,
see they have said that it will fit in my 1996, but i just need to change up the ecu and ****, but cant i just buy a wireing harness for the swap from obd2 to obd1 i have foung a wiring kit for that. i dont kno what to do. see here is where i get stuck, i can get either engine for my car, i have found both on 2 different websites. but see the engine are $1000 in price diffence. so i dont kno if i should just get the OBD2 enigne and pay $1000 more or if i should just try and rig up the OBD 1 enigne. i dont kno, need some help here! thankx |

ok that helps me out, what you need to do is fine a wiring harness from a car from that year that has the same motor. this will allow you become obd1. you might check google or a sponsor to see if they have that wiring harness.

see i can buy a wire kit to change me from OBD2 to OBD1 for like $70 will that work, or no? and if it will will it just be plug and play?

well your d series wire harness will not work with the b series motor, so you are going to have to get a whole new b series wiring harness from the car the engine was out of. this should have an ecu harness so that you can just plug and play into the b series ecu.
