Fuel injectors

Ok so I have serious plans in the future to turbo my D17. I have everything picked out for "bulletproofing" my engine and the turbo-kit picked out but I was wondering about a good brand for fuel injectors. I read on here that the 310 to 370 range of cc's would be adequate for a turbo set up so I'm down to a good quality brand. Thank in advance for any help.

RE: Fuel injectors

Look in to some DSM's or RC's.

for 310s or 370s you'll have to be runnin a toooon of boost. but thenagain...your being smart and bulletproofing your engine. id get 310s HIGHEST at first...then when you start turning up the boost contemplate getting bigger injectors...but 310s will do you fine for a while

if youre going to all that trouble of building the motor and all that, i assume youre doin ga good fuel management system, and a professional tune. if thats the case, go for the 370s, or even bigger, but its VERY important to get it tuned if you do that.

RE: Fuel injectors

yeah the fuel options with the turbo kit are either:
Option 1:
2 injectors & interface block
TSI Injection Control Unit w/ Turbo timer
Injection Control System Settings

or (the one I'm going with unless it would be wiser to get option 1):
APEXi V-AFC II
APEXi Turbo Timer
Boost Gauge

and yes I will be getting it professionally tuned, I doubt I'm even gonna put the turbo on myself, just pick a weekend and head down to slowboy racing here in PA and have them put the turbo on and tune it.
