Fuel Pressure Regulator??
 
need some info on "fuel Pressure Regulators" can someone help a newb out. i might install one for my b16a2, good idea??

Well, you already have one, but I am assuming you mean an adjustable one to raise the fuel pressure right? Just adding more fuel isn't going to do anything for you except make you run rich and ruin your cat and foul your plugs.

What makes you think you need more fuel?

i have just had a engine swap and installed the b16 engine and have been told by vtec runners that a fuel pressure regulator would be the way to go. i have also spoken to a vtec machanic and he will be installing it with my type R cam, extractors and apexi Vafc 1 not 2. he said with a tune i should gain 40hp roughly.

40 horse from TR cams and a tune? That might be a little generous. What's an extractor?

extractors = you may call them headers. yeh type R cam, headers, vafc 1 and a fuel pressure regulator.
