Default Getting it straight

So I live in Japan and I'm trying to figure what engine here coincides with the one there. Here's what I've got: 96 Hatchback VTi with the CVT transmission. This would mean I have an HX right? That also means the engine should be a D16Y5. Now I checked the sticky at the top and didn't see it in there. Can anybody tell me a bit about this engine? Also I've been reading that this engine has 127HP. Is this accurate?

Default RE: Getting it straight

OK so after much more research the car is an EK3 Vti with a D15Z I think. Can anybody confirm what the EK3 had in it. I've seen many different places saying different things. Also what's the USDM equivilent if I want to buy parts? A little help here.
