Good Idea?

D16A6 pistons in a boosted JDM D15B?? I want to put new pistons in while i have them out and are changing the rings, but having trouble finding ones that wont lower the the compression so damn much. I just dont know what the compression would be, ive read 10:1, but thats in a Z6. The JDM D15 has a more agressive cam, so i think it would be ok to handle that ratio, but i just wanted a couple opinions.

some people think that the d15b cam and z6 cams look almost identical, but why not run 10.0.1 compression? if the pistons are strong enough you wont have as much lag, and will still hasve really good bottom end

I agree if you have the money buy the good sh** so you only have to take it apart once, wish i was there so we could learn how to do it on your car, then perfect it on mine;)

A6 pistons will stick out the block. Stock is your best bet for boost I'd think.

Ah, that is a wonderful thing to know! Thank you very much. Ok, so last question and this will be the final decision, should i clean up the current pistons and re-use them:

or spend $80 and get brand new OEM D1678 pistons?
