Got the paint for my Valve Cover!

Well i went to Auto Zone and got Dupli-Color High Heat with Ceramic (Dyno heat tested) that withstand 1200 degrees.

The Primer is Dupli-Color Sandable Primer.

I also got an exhaust tip for the heck of just for style.

Ill post pics when the weather is good enough to paint

A little overkill with the heat rating, but you won't have to worry about it anymore.

What color are you planning on painting the cover?

lol when i was looking at the 1200 degree paint one day an old guy said that the way it works was that the heat actually transfers through the paint keeping it from melt off. cant wait to see the pics man

I was looking at it in Auto Zone and it was like $4.99 or $5.99 today cant remember, and then i saw the 800 degree and they were the same price

Thinking...." I know my cover isnt gonna get 1200 degrees.." But it was the same price lol
