Gotta question about my 98 lx
 

Well i have a 98 LX 1.6L D16Y7 .. and i hate it .. ive been wanting to do a B18c swap
and possibly boost it .. so i was just wondering .. if i should stick with the D16 and mess with that
or do the B18 swap .. and if i do the swap .. i need to know where i can get the B18

and im kinda new to all this tuning stuff .. dont know much
so please .. dont give me a hard time

You can find them on ebay or at a salvage yard.

well it depends on how much money you have to spend. the motor swap is gonna cost you around 3200 without being installed yourself and then the turbo will run about 1500. you also have to have money in case anything breaks on the motor or the turbo. so if i were you i would probably motor swap and then start saving up for a turbo.

Well it doesnt matter how much money .. ill save up for however much it will cost

would that work?
i know my friend has a 97 hatchback and he has a b18 swap .. is that much different
from my 98 sedan?

Those numbers for the turbo and engine look very conservative. I'd guestimate the engine with install being around 5500 and the turbo setup for about 2 grand installed and tuned. For that money and the age of your motor i'd suggest building your d for some boost. But if money isn't an issue, a boosted gs-r motor would be badass!
