Bad/broken pressure plate clutch disk, shifter linkage and assembly, shift forks, synchros many possiblilities I would check clutch fluid reservoir and slave cylinder movement first then the shift linkage make sure its all tight because the rest involve taking off the tranny

the check oil sign only comes on if you have less than 5psi of oil pressure that is a VERY bad sign. Did you check the oil level? Are the grounds bad any bad fuses sometimes that can affect the guages and how the car runs -- hope its just a bad ground. check the tranny and drivers side engine ground make sure they arent loose.
