love H22 civ's. i would totally do it. you see more B18's in civics than in tegs. then down the road throw a turbo or blower and just be wicked fast!! I would go for the F20B i think it is. the accord type r blue top H22.

h22's can handle fine they aren't that much heavier than a gsr. besides when you add traction bars, and relocate the battery you are about the same as a b series on the front anyway.

but the bad thing about h22's is that they are mounted real low and only have about 3-4 inches ground clearance for the oil pan that is when the car is lowered slightly 1-2'

but i say h is the way to go. or go k series then own all.

yesh but its also 2k more expensive.

i wanted h22 cuz stock they have a lot of power. plus i love torque. and ya clearance will be hard. my car is extremely low. id have to lift it like 2 or 3 inches?

i would gsr swap. you cannot turbo or spray a stock h22 with out internals done. the block and all the parts in side it are aluminum and dont like elevated cylinder pressure from a turbo or spray. b18c5 it and run 10 psi or a k swap like said up above would be alot better than that. most of the drag racers now days are using the k series motor.

I bet a stock H22 will hold as much power as a stock B18C1.
