OK this guy on here is selling me his h22a engine with tranny 760 shipped?? my dad thinks its a scam i think its true and a good deal? any advice on what to do here im 16 so i need some way to show my dad it wont be a scam and its a good deal..

 

lol, it sounds like a scam, unless the seller has no knowledge on value or the motor is in bad shape.

 

ok story line he bought the engine and was going to do swap but decided to keep his f22 and turbo it? not too good of an idea. but he has it sitting waiting to be shipped bought it a month ago and wants to sell ive been talkin him down a lot was 750 for just engine i said come on you dont need the tranny he said ok 760 for both??

 

h22's are 2-3k imported, no way you can get one from someone who knows anything about hondas for 760 unless there is something wrong with it.

 

i would pick it up in person, and pysicaly see that motor and what condition its in

 

does he have the papers from whoever he ordered it from stating it's condition or warranty, or something.

 

ok well heres the trouble hes in canada haha but its just the engine and tranny nothign else??

 

obd1 h22's are fairly cheap anymore and I'd say it is legit but dont go on what I think or what others think it is more of a judgement call on your part

 

ya i see ive been talkin to him for a lil bit he said he got a deal on it from a buddy but again doesnt need it.. i love the h22a engine i think im goin to take him up on it. so ya thanks guys anymore advice on what i should do when i get it??? i've heard sleeving it will give better potential? any thoughts should i do prior to puttin in or not?
