H22A?

Ok, I got a 93 civic 4-door 5-spd for $200. Got it from my dad's school. It has high miles, so I was just going to swap out the engine anyways. I was thinking...how easily would a H22A fit? Or, what other engines do you suggest? I don't want to put in a turbo JUST yet, that's my summer project to build an engine from the block up JUST for racing. So, I need some help one what you think I should do. I usually deal with Toyotas or Mitsubishis or 70's muscle cars. Thanks for all the help.

For the work you put into it, the results you get out of it, and the extent to which you can build it, you'll be happier with a B18C/C5 swap.

the H22 is about twice as powerful as your stock engine, but its also twice as heavy.

Go B18 much easier to find parts for and a little lighter than the H22.

RE: H22A?

yeah the B is quite a bit lighter, and is a cheaper block to build on too, along with the parts being more numerous

RE: H22A?

Sweet thanks guys. Pretty glad I got rid of my Stealth, that thing was fast, but damn, I had to call a junk Yard in Cali just to get a bumper. They don't make **** for that car. Not to mention, Civics are SOO much easier to work on. I had to pull off my fuel injection manifold just to get to 3 of my spark plugs....
