RE: H22a swap
If I'm correct, it's a pretty common h22/civic problem... I think it has something to do with how freakin' big the engine is compared to the civic's engine bay...I'm not sure there's really anything you can do about it

RE: H22a swap
ok hmmm... and my nexted ? is i am about to have to get a new distributor should i pay for the jdm one with the Internal or get a external withthe msd coilfor about the same price?

RE: H22a swap
The stock ignition system on a honda is actually fairly strong. There's no need to go with an external coil.
P.S. your sig pic is way too big. I think the max allowed size is 250x500 pixels but i think you can get away with a little wider as long as the height isn't above 250 |
RE: H22a swap
if you want under-hood bling, go with the external coil. If you just want function, get an oem one (I doubt the jdm and usdm ignitions are any different, just get a coil for a prelude (Not sure what years.... '90-something to like '98)

RE: H22a swap
the usdm coils are external and the jdm is internal and the only one i could find was like 250 and the one i have on it now is off my d16y8
