Are the Head gaskets a problem?

I'm going to be getting an EX real soon. I have heard though the I should watch out for my head gasket. Has anyone else had it blow or something along those lines?

if it has never been changed it might be a good idea because age wears and tears on parts. Usualy what when they start to go is because they blow from forced induction.

matter of fact found out my head gasket on my 2000 ex blew not too long ago and also i think i had a bad radiator so i went ahead and replaced the raditor, coolent, thermo, head gasket, head bolts, got hot resurfeced, new timing belt, and mine got so bad that it would misfire really bad you couldnt harly drive it because it was burning coolent soo bad but now it all runs great so i blew a head gasket dunno how and why it did i thought honda never broke down but hey its a car and its a civic i love it i put some money into but i dont care i love it and i only have 73,000 miles on it now so there ya go i dont know how many more people blew a head gasket but i sure did and dunno how and when
