Which head should I go with?

I have just bought a B18a motor from a friend, and I definately plan on going turbo and the motor will be fully built. the head was just cleaned with valve adjustments and stage 1 crower cams. Well I plan to get a set of turbo cams and was considering going with a B20 head. Well I dont know if I should just take the B18 head and port it with a set of new cams or if the B20 head is better with the stock cams. I have no problem buying a set of turbo cams, my problem is to know what if any is the significant advantage to a B20 head to a B18 for turbo applications as well as cost effective solution and longevity. Any help would be most appreciated.

The B20 and B18B head are the same head.

B20's are not vtec. There is a slight difference in the cams from the B18A to the B18B to the B20 but the head casting is the same as far as flowing abilities fully built. What changes the most out off all these engines are the intake manifold designs. The B20 has a slightly larger bore size but other than that the engines are for the most part the same.

since I plan on going turbo would you recommend me staying with a vtec or non vtec head? and what cams would you suggest for a turbo set up, figuring its an everyday car, I dont want to kill my gas mileage with a cam thats not necessary for the street.

Well if you plan on ctec you will need to do a few things. I honestly suggest you to stay with stock cams and build the bottom end. The LS cams are not to awfull bad and can support as much hp as you would ever need on a daily driver.

I definately plan on building the bottom, I keep finding stroker kits when i really just want a set of forged internals for turbo, is there a certain maker you suggest, or any websites to browse?

for rods look for eagle h-beams, carrillo i-beams (can be expensive), or crower i-beams

Is there a set or kit that is better or worst for a turbo set up, I dont want to waste money on a kit that it not necessary. I plan on running about 7-10 psi, and maybe a little bit more every once in awhile with a t3/t4 turbo. So what would you recommend that I should focus in on, and are there any particular kits you are aware of.
