HEADGASKET HELP

95 Civic DX Auto 1.5 L
My headgasket is gone. I started disassembling the engine to replace the head gasket.
I removed the power steering pump, need advise how to remove the timing belt. I might replace the water pump since I am already there.
Should I take precautions making sure cylinder number one is in TDC?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Also any recommended merchant where to buy the head gasket?
Thanks

RE: HEADGASKET HELP

You can get a headgasket from places like autozone, pepboys, A&A, etc. You might wanna buy the whole gasket kit and replace valve cover gasket, spark plug seals,.... The whole kit runs for about 120 bucks.
