heater or A/C ?
 

which one are your guys using in winter, heater or A/C? Using heater=vents+ temperature control, that is using engine coolant to warm the air. So dose it cost more fuel if using heater to warm the air? I think it doesn't , right? I am not sure? Thanks for your advices!

the heat is produced by the engine and the blower is electric.ac is belt driven so it uses more fuel to produce.

no a/c so i have to use heat, because that is what its for

using "engine coolant" to heat the air... hmmmm
try this ... if you use your ac to defrost your windows, since your ac unit has a dryer evaporator.. its faster and more eficient

I use A/C (when it works) and it works really good, especially in the winter. It does use more fuel, but you can actually see through the windows b/c there isn't fog everywhere.

the sweet thing about A/C is it will heat your car to a certain point and shut off. once it gets back down too low it turns back on until its at the desired point...ect ect ect. heat just goes and goes till you turn it off. so i guess technically you could get your car to be as hot as your engine if you just kept the heat on forever and a day.
