help on an LS vtec swap

Default help on an LS vtec swap

Ok here it is i have B18a1 block and a JDM B16 dohc vtec head that i need to combine. I am already pulling the pistons out of the block to replace w/ ITR pistons and rods. What other technical work will have to be done to make this run correct? Please help never done this type of swap before.... thanks kevin

you need to have the dowel pins bored out to fit the b18 pins, the you have to tap the vtec oil supply hole in the head and put a plug in it. then run an oil line to feed the oil to the vtec head to activate the vtec. search on google, you can find step by step instructions if you look around. and youll need the b18a head gasket.
