Help me with my motor.
 

Well I been a bit confused with my engine, I have a 2000 civic (du) ex, SOHC, and the valve cover only says Honda, what type of block do I have? And what heads can I swap with if any. Is it V-tech or not? Thanks fellaz and sorry for the nob question.

I have a 2000 civic EX also. I also have the SOHC 1.6L with the "HONDA" valve cover and it is a VTEC. It is the D16Y8 motor. Not sure on the head swap thing. Hope this helps.

If you look to the left of your header the code is printed there. On almost all honda motors thats where the code is printed.

Super charger. Its really not a set number, it depends on so many factors.
