HELP PLEASE

Default HELP PLEASE

tried to change my civic cam belt but cant undo one of the bolts on the bottom pulley [honda dealers have a tool for this]
any advice/tips etc

I used an impact wrench.

i just had to undo mine on an engine im rebuilding, i had to wedege a screwdriver/wrench in the transmission side, then put the socket on with a breaker bar, and use a huge pole over the end of the breaker bar, you will need to do it this way unless you have a really big impact wrench, you could have the dealership loosen it up for you, and then tighten it a bit so that the corosion is broken, and u could use a regular wrench

did this last weekend get two ball peen hammers set one of them of the nut and hit that one with the other one hard but not too hard. and then get an impact with a 17mm socket and it should come right off first try.
