Default HEY GUYS IM BACK!!

Hey guys, i know i fell off there for a minute, i live in the sticks now and it took a while to get internet up and running. Well, couple updates, the civic is sold[]i know...i know, the integra well.....it stalled on me on tuesday on the way to work, i came back to pick it up after work, some cocksmoker jacked it up and cut out a 4 foot section of the exhaust to get my cat[:@][:@], luckily state farm is picking up the bill and everthing is being replaced by megan (header, test pipe-dont have emissions here, and drift spec catback)
So, i know i said i was not going the LSVTEC route, but i have decided to do it. First thing in need to get rid of the twig rods in there now. I know GSR pistons will fit, but will the rods mate with the crank ok?? And can someone give me a number on compression, all the calculators out there dont factor in the rods, and i know the b18c rod adds and extra mm to the mix and i want to be around 10.5-10.7 compression, thanks guys, look forward to getting back in the mix.

Im a little confused... Im going to assume you have a gsr? I think your question was will your gsr rods fit an LS crank? From what Ive read they will not. There may be a way to make them fit but Im not sure its worth the effort. Im glad to see ya back. I loved your old car. What are your plans for your new car?n/a ls/vtec or boosted ls/vtec? Im defintitely voting for boost! Keep us posted.

I have a RS actually. I have found out that no, gsr rods will not go on my crank, so aftermarket I, or H rods here i come. Im going to mate those to pr3 pistons, should be looking at around 11.4 compression

yeah, im gonna take a stab at it, see what its all about. just need to decide what head to put on it, anyone have and suggestions, pros and cons? I know the gsr resists detonation a little better and the smaller cc ups the compression, but on the other hand the b16 flows better. I just dont know what to get

I would just go with the b16. They can be had for a good bit cheaper and like you saidthey flow like a champ. You could send it to riceburner and have him port it up a little for ya. He does some pretty clean work.
