About to change my oil and just had a quick question. I picked up a honda oem oil filter and it came with a little washer, just wondering what the washer is for.

RE: Honda Oil Filter Question
The OEM filter cost about $7.50 from the dealership near my house, and suposedly its a little better because it has a check valve (one way valve).

Oil Drain Bolt
Yeah I was out in the garage beginning to change my oil and I am using my 17mm rachet socket to try to remove the oil drain bolt but whatever idiot who changed my oil last must have used an impact gun or something because the bolt is so frickin tight I an't get it to budge.

RE: Oil Drain Bolt
you need to start the car and let it run for about 5 minutes or so. that will make the oil drain easier and make it easier to remove the drain plug.

RE: Oil Drain Bolt
Even though the car is still warm? I've been waiting for it to coll down for 2 hours cause it was so hot.
