Default HORSEPOWER for my 86 CIVIC

What can i do to gain horsepower on my 86 civic thats not amazingly expensive? I haven't really done anything to it performance wise, except a muffler which isn't much. Does anyone know where i could find a body kit as well?
Thanks

pacestter header and catback exhaust, intake system. if your car is an si it will be easier to gain power with bolt ons. if you car is carburated then you could gain power by switching to dual webers and doing a lot of head work for a lot more power.

Along with what ef said, also remeber, horsepower means nothing if you cant put it to the ground. Lets say you get all these bolt-ons or mods, and off the line you peel all through 3rd gear, your mods are useless. You can find a decent intake for about $140, Headers for about the same price. Try upgrading your spark as well. Changing out your spark plugs not only makes your engine perform better, it saves you some gas also. If you want good spark go with NGK, MSD or Denso.
