Default Houston we have a problem.......

If i run my civic and redline first second and third(about 96)....... then fouth with a lil over 100 enigne will keep reving even when i throw it in nuetrel but will stop when i tum eninge off.... stay reving about 4 gran... then after time slowly get back to normal... it takes coulpe of minutes of time get there....

WTF?

check to see your throttle cable isnt sticking.

how do i check... and u sure that could be it cause like i said it still revs even in nuetrel

its gotta be something allowing airflow into the engine...........remove the throttle cable from the throttle body and make sure the cable doesnt bind in its sheath.

it didnt work... i diconnected the cable when the engine was reving and it continued to rev.... shut if ff and turn it back on.. still reving

Sounds like to valve in the throttle body is sticking, make sure there is no debris stuck in there keeping it from closing fully. If there is, replace your airfilter.
