How can i get Better low end power with stock 1.5

Default How can i get Better low end power with stock 1.5

hey i have a catback excaust that is it on my 89 dx hatch. Now i was told i lost some bottom end. How can i get it back plus more. I wanna get a better 0-60 with the stock engine. Thanks

You lose a little low end power (not enough to worry about), but it will make up for it in the high end. Overall your 1/4 time will be lower with the Exhaust.

if you want low end power, aka torque, buy a V8. Or do an ls/vtec or mini me type swap. I've seen some setups make considerable torque over stock.

the timing advance i told you about will help considerably, just be sure to run premium gas.

yea i just did my timing. and i was considering a new intake, i hurd short rams get more lowend then the cool air intakes ..... true?
