How can i get my civic faster?
My 2000 honda civic EX has a v-tec engine, headers, cool air intake, and a megan racing exhaust on it. Is there any way I can make my car faster without doing a engine swap.

unfortunately, with the d-series, boost is really the only way to go from here. a b-series has more potential than a d-series, but if you stay with it, id say boost it. how many miles do you have on your car right now? i would say keep it reliable, and keep boost to between 5-6psi. this will give you a noticeable difference in hp, but wont be ungodly fast by any means. most turbo'd d-series run high 14's to low 15's, depending on boost level, internal upgrades, driver skill, many things.

pistons and a cam would give u a decent set up. all depends on how fast your wanting to go and what kinda budget your working with.

Build the engine up like put pistons, cams, valves, polish the ports. etc. By doing all of this then throw a turbo on it then you will have one bad ass SOHC civic.
