I have a 95 civic ex, 168k miles on odometer. I have not changed the internals nor do i know how, i found a place who will street tune my car for $150 and give me power based on my internals. Based on the Age and miles can my internals handle a street tune?

 

There is no point to a tune if you have a stock motor.

What are your final hp goals? Do you plan on modding your car at all more than it currently is?

You say this shop will give you more power based on your internals? What are your internals? Stock?

If you plan on adding anything extra to the car, don't mess with a tune. You will have to get another tune once you add a new part.

 

you're not gonna pick up any real gains by simply tuning a stock engine, no matter how good the tuner is. They're just trying to jack you out of money, IMO.
