i dont understnad, if u put a d16z6 head on a d15b7 block wouldnt it cause a problem, since the z6 is a 1.6 liter engine and the d15b7 is a 1.5 l

well im pretty sure the liter is based on the displacement of how much mixture is being throwin at the different stroke periods...and since there both D series, its possible...but then again...im a "newbie" so could be COMPLETELY wrong...haha, thought id throw that in there

the pistons are not sticking up out of the block high enough to hit the cylinder head thats why people are able to use the z6 head on the b7 block

ok i get it so basically the amount of liters depends on the head mainly not the block
