RE: hp gains (a/c)
is The A/C belt seperate from everything else, do i need a new belt?
|
RE: hp gains (a/c)
AC Belt is seperate from PS and ALT.
Removing A/C will produce about 1hp, and save 20lbs max. Not really worth it |
RE: hp gains (a/c)
ya I would go with what forty said, because I wish you would rip out that ac and give it to me to put in my hatch, lol serious

RE: hp gains (a/c)
If you're going to take out it, make sure to drain out the system fully. You'll probably need an ac service repair shop to do that for you.

RE: hp gains (a/c)
well thanks for your guys input! it blows my mind how much you guys know.
i am going to take out the a/c unit so if anyone need one needs it let me know. i was just going to save the parts for sale at end. 20lb and some if none hp. its coming out if i said well 20 lb here 10lbs there not worth it then i wouldn't have taking out over 200lbs i think i can take out 200lbs more thanks for your help and i'm sure ill need it again. |
RE: hp gains (a/c)
The A/C unit only decreases HP when in use doesn't it? Just don't use the thing.

RE: hp gains (a/c)
Option A: remove A/c, sweat like nobody's business, without gaining any desirable power
Option B: keep A/c, stay cool, keep current power (like option A) |
RE: hp gains (a/c)
