AC Belt is seperate from PS and ALT.

Removing A/C will produce about 1hp, and save 20lbs max. Not really worth it

If you're going to take out it, make sure to drain out the system fully. You'll probably need an ac service repair shop to do that for you.

The A/C unit only decreases HP when in use doesn't it? Just don't use the thing.

Option A: remove A/c, sweat like nobody's business, without gaining any desirable power

Option B: keep A/c, stay cool, keep current power (like option A)
