I am looking for a good discussion on strokers

Please forgive me I am brand new but I did do a search and didnt find anything I was searching for. What I am looking for is a discussion on the B16 and B18 stroker kits and combinations. I am looking at doing some work on my civic, i have 2 MR2s and have worked on the extensively I am now looking to broaden my horizons. What I want to discuss is the best stroker, block and head cobination. When I build motors for my MR2s things I consider are: as close to a square bore ratio as possible rod ratio head flow these are the three most important things, to me, when designing and building performance engines. i notice with the b16 stroker that you can keep a close square bore ration but your rod ratio suffers. i do beleive the head flows a little better than the b18 (please correct me if i am wrong here). the b18 stroker has a better rod ratio but you lose your square bore. what are you guys runnig? are there other combinations that i am missing? thank you. v/r, steven |
