I don't know squat

I just bought a 94'civic dx5-speed, I don't know squat about the engine. All I know is that its a 1.5 non vetec, so what could I do with this engine with out speeding alot of money?

welcome to the forum! Getting an intake, header, and a cat-back exhaust is always a good way to start. You won't notice huge power gains, but what you will notice will be a good bit of throttle response gained.

i have same motor you do. do cold air intake, a skunk2 intake, throttle body spacer, exhaust , header, turbo and a chip. ive talked to a few shops and guys who have the same engine we do. some are running between 2 and 3 hundred horses.
