I know nothing about swapping engines

If i was going to get an engine swap for my 95 dx 4d auto (D15B7), what should i do and which engine should i choose? Where could i get it from and about how much would it be? Any info helps.

Start here Swap Info (Sticky) and then go to "EG Swaps" and start reading.

But if you need instant gratification the most popular would probably be to swap the V-Tec head on to your block, aka the "mini-me." It essentially gives you a V-Tec motor with higher compression, so ~ 125-130 HP. A bigger and better swap would be to go to the B16 DOHC V-Tec. I think that one is ~ 160 HP. There's a ton of info about swaps on here. Just poke around. Good luck.

Lets say that i do swap to the vtec head. Will i have to alter which H/I/E i get or will it stay the same?

No that stuff will all stay the same. Most, if not all, D series parts are interchangeable. I just saw a D16Y8 (6th gen v-tec) head on e-bay for 100 shipped.
