jup know a guy he runs 10psi on all stock internals not the best thing to do in the long run but hes in the high12

but enyway cant agree more whit drbyers but if your willing on putting all of that money in your car go for a b series motor or maby even a h22 know a guy whit a 92 and he already runs 14.1 whit intake headers cat catback flywheel and a chip
just all depends how mutsh u wanne end up putting in the car ill get a b18b and boost that sucker and all them mustangs can do then is look at your tail lights while u pull away from them

This is what I was thinking. You have $6k? thats enough for a small downpayment on a freakin house or condo. buy a house first, then in a few years, youll be a lot better off and will be able to do whatever you want with your car. If I had bought a house 5 years ago when I first moved to Sacramento, I could very easily own one outright by now, and have all of my money as excess now. and now Im about priced out of the market. I know this isnt what you want to hear, But I feel guilty telling a young person how to waste his money on his car when its enough to change his whole life for the future.

 

i would do an h22 head with an h23 block and crank and put some low compression pistons/ rods and a damn good turbo kit and you will hit like 250-350+ hp easily while also having a 2.4L stroker motor that sounds sweet...... h22s are like half the price for a complete swap over a b-series

 

You can spend 2500 bucks and have a low 13 second sohc. Thats why I love the D

 

i put a nitrous system on my d with bolt ons and took a 5.0 at the track with ease, and it only had a minor base tune. 1000 bucks could get it done with a nitrous setup, not the best idea, but it would work.
