I need ideas!
i have a 2003 honda civic lx 2dr. what can i do to make it fast without buying a turbo. i want to keep it to couple hundred bucks each thing. whats will give me the most power for the best money. the 115 hp stock just isn't cutting it.
No turbo=no blowoff
An exhaust system by itself wont help much, but combine with a header and intake, and you can free up a few ponies. Dont cheap out, buy a system that the company did their R&D, -tanabe, hks, Apex-i, Skunk2, just to name a few
So, on to other ?'s:
Light Weight rods:

Ok I'll make this very easy for you;
pistons - Wiseco high comp - http://www.importperformanceparts.net/ $450 + $80 for rings
rods - Crower - http://www.atomicspeedware.com/rodcrowac.htm $710 (I swear I have found them cheaper just can't find the site again right now)
valvetrain - D16Y/Z any company, here is Crower part number for vavletrain *these are springs/retainers only* CR-84166 $350. Valves are also compatible between D16 and D17 motors. ~$150ish.
As for N2O, I don't favor Zex, but keep in mind that you do NOT have a return style fuel system so you can only use a wet kit.
