I wanna swap my Engine on my 97 HX
 

So i have a black 97 2d honda civic hx. Its a amazing car which i love so much and i don't want to trade it in. Im a big honda fan and would like not only to fix it up but also deck it out. I wanna start with a new engine cuz im at 117 miles on mine and im pretty sure with the way im driving it, it won't last for much long than another year. I would like a engine that would be better then the one i have. I think i had a D15Z 1493cc 4 cyl, 16 valve SOHC VTEC-E. Im a newbie when it come to cars and all and im not sure but i really would like a engine which i can put turbo on it. PLz help me out.

HX has a D16Y5
you'd have to do something seriously wrong for a Honda engine to not last a lot longer than 117k miles. You say you expect it to go bad soon... are you like not changing the oil or something? LOL.

if you're a newb to cars, an engine swap isn't the place to start learning. B-series engines are good for swaps and respond well to turbo. before you ask any more questions do some research and search the forum for your answers. I'm pretty sure that everything you will need to know can be found somewhere on the forum or google by searching.

yea i was going to say b series, prolly a b16
