ideal switching gears for D16Z6? (92-95 ex)

Default ideal switching gears for D16Z6? (92-95 ex)

i got 1995 honda civic ex coupe with D16Z6engine

i never got the owners manual when i bought the car so i dont know when i'm suppose to go 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th (the best rpm or mile)

could any1 help me out? i'm searching alot but still cant find anything on internet on it :S

you shouldnt need a book or anyone to tell you when to change gears. the manual tell you to change to second at like 10mph. I ususally do at 15mph (i have no tach) under normal driving and around 20 when getting on it...but you really shouldt be driving a stick if you cant hear when the motor needs another gear

i do it around 15, 25, 35, 45

i try to keep it around 2800 rpm, just didnt kno what was the perfect shift rpm/mph

There is no perfect time, it depends on how you are driving. If you're just around town shift whenever you want to, if you're racing, somewhere near redline is fastest. (in a high revving civic)
