Ignition module--Worth it??

I was wondering what your opinions were on an ignition module, ie. MSD "little red box", sport compact, etc. Do these mosules really make a difference? I know they'll produce more spark, but does anyone have experience with them? I was considering it, but wanted to get an opinion 1st!!

They are good if you have alot of other mods done first. What are your mods?

Well I'm just starting out. I just bought an '02 EX w/ 1.7 VTEC. I plan to put on an AEM V2, DC Sports 4-2-1 header, Greddy EVO2 Exhaust. From there I was looking at ignition. What say you???

No, your not quite ready yet. If I were you id go something like this....

high flow cat
intake manifold
throttle body
cam
cam gear
some type of engine management
fuel rail
fuel press regulator
now do ignition

Alright, thanks man. The thing is, is that I wasn't really planning on doing that much work to the engine. I figured adding a module would give me a little better acceleration and spark. But again I'm new to this whole world of insanity, so I'll take your word. Thanks again for the help...

You recommend doing these in that order, LEVIII?
