ok dont laugh at me, i have a d15 non vtec in my 1995 civic dx, if theres any way to put a different vtec head in it so i do have vtec. or should i just swap the whole thing out. be gentle

yes, its called a Mini-Me swap and its a VERY common thing to do. Not necesarrily easy, but common. Search Google or use the Search feature up there ^ to find more info. Just search "Mini-Me".

I'll start ya off:d16z6 or d16y8 heads are the most common heads to swap on.

i have a d15 in my civic, so its possible to put a d16 sohc vtec head into it?

i beleive a z6 can be put onto there, someone correct me if im wrong

yes, the z6 head will fit onto a d15, z6 flows better than my y8;)
