Default im a noob.. please help l0l

i have an 05 honda civic vp(dx) and i want to make it a little bit quicker, without swapping the engine, anyone wanna help a noobie out and let me know what the best next steps to see improvement would be?

i/h/e will help out with throttle response, it wont boost hp that much, you can always boost it or put in nitrous, but you would have to tune it up, also you can upgrade the internals and you can boost hp.

and throttle body and intake manifold will help. That will make it a little quicker. Not sure how much. And you should be able to do most of that on your on.

if its stock people usually start off with the basics like exhaust, manifold,aftermarket air filter, they dont make a massive difference but its better than stock dont know exactualy but theyshould add about 5-15 bhp

ya if you do a nice exhaust, header, short ram intake or cold air intake you WILL feel the difference and it may just get you hooked.
