I jus got a y8 head off of Forty and I want to build it a little before I install it...I got a new intake mani for it, but

My question is if I get a high performance cam and new valve springs is there anything that I need to accomidate(sp) those upgrades?

thx guys I always appreciate your knowledge

Well first off, thanks for snatching up that head form me! Anyone looking to do business with this dude should feel great confidence in doing so, Excellent Buyer!

Anyway, you might want to look into Akmee, they have an entire head package for the d-series motors. Or just pick up a nice cam, and some good valves, springs, retainers, and maybe new seals. With a decent amount of good head internals, some minor work to the oil pump, and a good tune, that will be a fun motor
