Internals

Alright...so tonight has been a rollercoaster of looking at options to pull some more power out of my D17. First I was thinking K24 / K24 with a K20a2 head (too much $ for the power), then I did a lot of turbo shopping (way too complicated to get it right for 7th gens), and I'm looking for a little bit more of an inexpensive route.

I'm a complete newb at this...I do have an understanding of how the engine works, I just am not very familar with changing internals.

How difficult would it be/ how much power would I get with a stage 1 cam, w new springs, and retainers? Also, what other options do I have with N/A?

I'm looking for a summer project here, so I'm open to pretty much any suggestion. I'm just trying to keep it at $1000 or less.

Thanks!

I'm not an expert, but here goes anyway.$1000 isnt much to work with, but cams, intake, exhaust, headers are probably your best bet for N/A power
