its freaken time for a swap!!
ummm, right. 13:1 CR built enough? ive had plenty of experience with both b and d series. d is great, but if you have to get a new engine, and youre going to pay going prices (basically no one is giving you a sohc for free or hella cheap) then b series is a better choice. i know we've been through this, but you still just disregard the b16 like its crap. ive driven some damn fast b16 powered civics, like high 13s with surprisingly few mods. and i modded my d15 a lot before the rod spun, and it could hang pretty well with a heavily bolted-on 00 SI, but only till about halfway through 2nd gear, then i would get crushed. i had a ton more room to go on that motor, but it would have been cracking it open or going FI, both of which severely lower the reliability. bolting in a b16 will put you out of the reach of 80-95% of the the d series you see on the street. of course the ones who are faster than you might just stomp the hell out of you. but then of course, they are nearly topped out without a pretty serious jump in mods, and you are just a small nitrous hit or a light turbo kit away from 13s.
well i want to haul *** and make people look stupid, but i want to keep it simple and a sleeper, what mods can i do to a d15 for now
or should i just save money for the b16?[:@]
