Hey guys. Is there anyway to tell what year a JDM engine is? I recieved a JDM B16, I was told it was a 99-00 model. But as we all know the JDM don't have a number after the engine code.

Reason why is, I want to get the right harness for it when I put things together. But I need to find out what year it is first, and I don't know how to with a JDM engine.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

 

There sould be a casting date on the back of the head.

 

How would I go about reading that?
