eh...prolly 8 or 9 hp...im not really that great at estimating HP from psi, i havnt gone through the equations enough...but considering an IM will give you 3 or 4 over stock...im gunna stick with those numbers.

oh yeah...and of course throttle response will increce dramatically

 

Many people claim the Skunk2 intake manifolds are loud..........idk how i feel about that. Im thinking about throwing in a test pipe when i install this manifold too.........those 2 combined should make a damn nice power gain.



Funny as it may seem, im not even happy about the power gain, im going to be happy to have my car idling normally so i can use my remote starter in the morning and not hear "RRRM RRRRM RRRRM "........i havent been using it cuz the idle just goes up and down....stupid gasket.

 

its not loud in the traditional sense. it makes noises that are unlike normal engine noises. like it will have a little whistle at certain RPMs, and it will kinda idle funny at times. nothing too bad though. youll get used to it.

 

yea..my dad said something to me about my car...he drove it when i was away........hes like "What did you do to that car? Sounds like somethings spinning when i step on the gas........that cars pretty fast.....what did you do?"



haha the turbo is pretty loud.......i guess im just used to it.

 

thats what im hoping my dad will say after i go off to college and come back with a built GSR underhood.
