Looking for some guidence.

A buddy of mine just bought a 1998 Honda Civic EX. He's looking to majorly upgrade the car, but has no experience with anything. He's wanting to take an engine from a '91-'01 Acura Integra, and swap it into his Civic. Is this advisable? How much gains have been brought to one that has done this?Any write up about the swap? How much work is involved? Any MAJOR modifications? He will have access to a shop with any tools available.
