LS head into B16 block? what for?

Default LS head into B16 block? what for?

i've heard that if u put ls heads into the b16 block that it will raise the compression adding more power? true/false? INFO please.....?

someone gave you bad info.....in fact its the other way around. although i will say i have done the ls head on a b16 block. you have to weld the vtec oil feed port on the block of oil goes everywhere. this was just an experiment and compression should have been damn near 8.2:1. it ran and had no bottom end power what so ever. just dropping a b16 head on a stock ls block bumps your comp up from 9.1 to 9.5:1 assuming the head isnt milled and your using a factory untouched headgasket.

I have allways wondered about this, how did the B16 react to the LS head? Did it breath good up top?
