I have an alternator (finally) timing belt and a head gasket to put on my D16Y7 today or tomorrow, what i was wondering is:
I am new to honda engines and i was wondering if there is something i should be looking for while i have the top end apart, some things i should check or look for? I am an auto tech so i am not afraid of doing some work so any option is a good one. thanks for any help in advance.

Not a thing, eh? I guess my valves don't need to be adjusted or anything like that......

always a good idea to adjust the valves, as well as swap the water pump when doing a timing belt install.

Did you get new headstuds?
