I dont know witch intake manifold to get the venom or the skunk2 i have 1996 civic ex d16y8 and i was also wondering if that has vtec

yes it has vtec.

id recommend other mods before an intake manifold. suspension would be best, but if you wanna start with power then intake, exhaust, header, cam, and THEN you wanna do an intake manifold.

I have headers, cat back, hi flow cat
cai throtle body intake mani.
cam shaft, cam gear
all fuel upgraded
suspension
and the list continues

if you have the money then i would go with the venom, thats the one i have my eye on but am gonna have to save up for a while... Skunk 2 look mostly like stock but jsut a tad but bigger and are way more affordable

Ive seen quite a few dynos, and aftermarket intake manifolds dont make much if any power over stock below about 7k rpms, and not much above that. only the GSR really benefits from it in near stock form. even with bolt-ons its overkill. unless you are running a good amount of boost or some crazy all-motor internals, you might as well stick with the stock manifold.
